The Equine Clinic St. Georg in Trier Altano GmbH is a renowned and specialized equine clinic (including colic surgery) with WBE to FTA for horses and horse surgery, an independent specialized dental clinic and a driving practice newly established in 2019.

The clinic has a 24h emergency standby and our team of doctors consists of 3 senior veterinarians and 4 assistant doctors.

We are looking for a full-time position Initial Assistant (m/f/d) and/or Veterinarian (m/f/d) with professional experience in the horse sector

As a modernly, equipped clinic for horses with a hight level of expertise in surgery, orthopädics and internal medicine, we offer an apprenticeship as a veterinary assistant

The tasks include treatment and surgical assistance, the performance of post-treatment and ward services as well as laboratory, work and administrative tasks.

For these tasks you ideally bring along a successful middle school diploma. In addition to your enthusiasm for horses and modern medicine.
A drvinglicence is also an advantage.

As an aspiring, modern clinic we are looking for you as a veterinary assistant (f/m/d) to grow together with us.

Possible areas of responsibility are the reinforcement of our OR team as well as in the area of inpatient care. You would also be responsible for the retreatment of patients. You organise and explain the procedures with great deal of sensitivity, and you are able to respond individually to our patients and their owners. Whether you tackle further administrative tasks such as reception or general administrative tasks or deal with trainees, we will coordinate. We are open to your talents.

As a trained veterinary assistant, you have experience in the operating theatre, knowledge of inpatient care and follow-up treatment. You are already available for weekend and night services. You are flexible, structured, strongly organised and able to work under pressure.

You can expect an open-minded team of 25 people, above-standard pay for 40 hours and flexible, regular working hours.
